Eric "Guinness" McGinnis
Eric "Guinness" McGinnis has been performing with RamaLama since late 2015, marking a 17 year hiatus from the a cappella scene. Eric was a regular performer with the Dreamers of Phi Mu Alpha SINFONIA at Penn State between 1994-1998. Eric covers many of the tenor parts for RamaLama and as a theater performer and crooner by nature, he brings some theatrics to our performances.
Amelia "Millie" McGinnis
Amelia "Millie" McGinnis joined RamaLama in the summer of 2017. An accomplished vocalist, Amelia is no stranger to a cappella singing or the sounds of the 1950s and 1960s. She directed and arranged music for Savoir Faire, Penn State's first all-woman contemporary a cappella group, from 1997 to 2001. Amelia's uncanny ability to remember lyrics is an asset to RamaLama's cheeky 'Stump the Band' schtick, and her wide range helps to cover both middle tenor parts and the highest of soprano.
Tom "T-Dub" Wilson
Tenor II and Booking Manager
Bellefonte native Tom Wilson (T-dub) has been active in the Centre Region music scene since the mid 60's, performing with groups "The Sons of Mother" during the Motown days that transformed into the Psychedelic era. Then oldies band "Captain Jack and the Sea Cruisers" during the 70's. The 80's produced "Doo Wopp Inc", Centre County's first doo-wop group. The 90's were the years for the "Bald Headed Blues Band" and then a member of the horn section of "Cliff Turner and the Afterburners" from 1995 to 2000. Original member and founder of "RamaLama" in 2015, puts T-dub into his 52nd year helping to preserve some of the niche musical history of our resent past. Doo-wop 'til ya drop.
